DIMAPUR — Modern College in Piphema celebrates its freshers’ day at the college’s indoor stadium on July 26 with Dili Kheko, proprietor of D/Café as the special guest.
In his address, the special guest challenged the students to think outside the box and get outside their comfort zone, the college state in an update. Mentioning that the freshers are embarking on a new journey, Kheko advised them to set a target, have a vision and strive to achieve more than what they have achieved in their HSSLC.
He also encouraged everyone not to be afraid of challenges but to put an extra effort to be successful in life.
Even though the future might be uncertain and the journey is tough, he reminded the students to should know the reason of their presence in the college and work towards that goal.
Meanwhile, out of the 20 contestants vying for the Mr and Ms Freshers’ titles, Neilie Rio and Fita Pfinyu were crowned Mr and Ms Freshers’ respectively.
