Yisanbeni and Wemhekhro win Miss and Mr. ‘Zoommax’ 2023
KOHIMA — Yisanbeni Tsanglao, a Political Science (BA) student of St Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama and Wemhekhro Kapfo of Kohima Science College won Miss and Mr. ’13th Zoommax’ 2023 title respectively at the culmination programme of the two-day 13th edition of Zoommax, held at RCEMPA in Jotsoma on Friday.
The first and second runners-up for Miss Zoommax were Rakovine Vedumai from Baptist College, Kohima and Tainiu L Khiamniungan from Nagaland University respectively. While, Matung Zimik from St. Joseph’s College (autonomous) Jakhama and Velhuto Medeo from Kros College were adjudged as first and second runners-up respectively.
Six colleges and various departments from Nagaland University participated in the two-day management fest held with theme ‘manifesting forte’.
The event witnessed various competitions including Mr. and Miss 13th Zoommax.
St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama emerged as the overall champion.
For the mad-ads competition, Kohima Science College won first and Nagaland University bagged second place. In sketching, both places were bagged by Nagaland University.
Voice of Zoommax went to NU and Kohima Science College while the mock interview was won by Kohima Science College and St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama.
In the DSLR photography category, Kros College and St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama won. Business plan competition was bagged by Kohima Science College and St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama. Sazolie College won dance in crew and solo while second place for dance solo was bagged by St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama.
Advisor of 13th Zoommax, Dr. Dhrubajyoti Bordoloi, delivered a speech during the closing ceremony, which was then followed by the result declaration.
Zoommax is an annual management fest organised by the School of Management Studies, Nagaland University.
