Wokha legal service to conduct camp for unorganised workers

Dimapur, March 14 (EMN): The Wokha District Legal Services Authority will conduct a legal services camp for workers in the unorganised as an annual event at Wokha public ground on March 16 at 9 am.
The camp is being organised under the aegis of the Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) in collaboration with the office of the assistant labour commissioner, according to an update from the DIPR.
Workers in the unorganised sector who are engaged in building and construction works and aged from 18-59 years are eligible to avail this scheme.
Interested workers are informed to carry photocopies of first page of bank account pass book (Aaadhaar linked); birth certificate; Aadhaar card; certificate of proof that the applicant is a construction worker along with two passport-size photos. For migrants workers proof of age certificate will be allowed only if it is from the place of origin.
A registration fee of INR 25 will be charged while INR 300 for premium (annually) and every registered beneficiary to renew the same every year.
