Volleyball tournament under BBBP held in Niuland

DIMAPUR — The Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) and District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), Niuland district, in collaboration with Niuland Town Council (NTC), organised a volleyball tournament on November 2 at Niuland town public ground.

According to an update, the tournament had two categories – senior (women of nine wards of Niuland town) and junior (girl students of schools under Niuland town).

In the senior category, Education ward emerged champions with Vihoto ward as runners-up.

In the junior category, the first prize was won by GHSS Niuland and second prize by Modern School Niuland.

Deputy Commissioner of Niuland, Sara S Jamir, who attended the event, also addressed the gathering.
