Dimapur, June 28 (EMN): Nagaland Chief Secretary, J Alam, informed that the union finance minister of India, Nirmala Sitharaman, will attend the Nagaland CSR and Investment Conclave 2022 scheduled on July 4 and 5.
Alam informed this while addressing the AHoD and HoD meeting held at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat conference hall in Kohima on June 28. He stated that the CSR conclave was the first of its kind in Nagaland, which is being organised by the Investment and Development Authority (IDAN), and reminded all the government departments to give full attention towards the success of the programme, stated a DIPR report.
Alam also informed that the state government has planned to implement e-pension at the earliest and added that areas of reforms need to be addressed for proper functioning of the government. He expressed confidence that the new technologies could be implemented successfully for ease of doing business since the state has able officers.
Also briefing the officers, the CEO of IDAN, Alemtemshi Jamir, stated that the CSR conclave was one step towards the many positive changes coming to the state. He stated that various corporate companies have shown their interest in investing in Nagaland and expects fruitful participation. He informed that there would be business-to-business and business-to-government interactions and bankers conclave during the event as well. The CEO further sought cooperation and support from the officers of the state government for the success of the programme.
