Unidentified body found near Bhandari town

WOKHA — One unidentified body of a man was discovered on Sunday afternoon along Wokha-Merapani road, about two kilometre from Bhandari town towards Merapani. The body was found by a truck driver while attending to a nature call, who immediately alerted the Bhandari Police Station.

The deceased, believed to be in his late thirties, was transported to the Community Health Centre in Bhandari for identification.

Local residents suspected the cause of death to be a case of foul play, indicating a possible murder. Authorities are currently conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Further detail is awaited till the filing of this report.
