Two persons arrested with drugs in Mokokchung

MOKOKCHUNG — Mokokchung Police arrested two persons with 2153 capsule of suspected Spasmo Proxyon during a routine checking and frisking at Settsu junction on June 12.

The arrested persons have been identified as Litongse Sangtam (38) and P Lipongchem (41) both from Mangakh of Mangakhi village under Longkhim police station in Tuensang district.

Police stated that the suspected Spasmo Proxyon capsules were recovered from a Maruti Ecco van bearing registration number AS 04X 7679.

It added that a case in this connection has been registered at Mokokchung Police Station –II for further investigation.
