Two Naga athletes to compete in East Asian Muay Thai Championship

DIMAPUR — Two athletes from Nagaland have been selected to participate in the East Asian Muay Thai Championship, scheduled from November 28 to December 1 at Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Hong Kong, China.

According to an update from the All Nagaland Amateur Muaythai Association, Aboto Ayemi will compete in the 57 kg elite class and Yoto Chizo in the 71 kg elite class, alongside 12 other athletes from across the nation.

Coach Hemavi Ayemi will lead the Indian national Muaythai team as head coach, accompanied by official representatives from the United Muaythai Association of India.
