Two differently-able judokas bring laurels to Nagaland

Dimapur, April 14 (EMN): In a delayed report, two differently-able athletes from Nagaland, Odimongba and Piulin Pamai, brought laurels to Nagaland by winning medals at the national judo championship for deaf and blind, which was held at Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan from March 5 to the 9th.

Odimongba won gold medal in the 50 kg junior category, while Piulin Pamai won bronze medal in 55 kg junior category, a DIPR update informed.

Appreciating the hard work and dedication of the two young specially abled judoka’s,  Akumla Chuba, director, department of Youth Resources and Sports and Megolhu Dolie, additional director interacted with the champions at Youth Hostel, Dimapur on Thursday.

Both the medallists are from Eastern Blind Care Home, Longleng.
