DIMAPUR — The monthly meeting of the Tseminyu DPDB was held on Tuesday at the DC conference hall in Tseminyu.
The meeting was chaired by MLA and chairman DPDB Tseminyu, AR Jwenga Seb, who, speaking on the occasion, congratulated the administration and election department for the peaceful conduct of the ULB election.
While reviewing the last meeting minutes, DC Tseminyu Rohit Singh proposed the allocation of a government building for the opening of an SBI new branch at Kandinu village.
He informed that, as at present there is no government building available in that village, the village council chairman has been entrusted to look into the matter.
The house recommended the proposal for the registration of the Cultural Society Kandinu, the recognition of Rengma Rivers village, and the establishment of the Rural Small Entrepreneurship Training Institute at the Kasha Daho development area.
Proposals for seeking recommendations for the assistant district coordinator of Samagra Shiksha in Tseminyu, the establishment of a separate district mission authority, and an EBRC under Tseminyu district were also recommended to the concerned authority.
After scrutiny, the members also approved the proposal for various schemes and projects under LADP 2024–2025.
Furthermore, the report mentioned that a new member, DHO Tseminyu Amenla, was introduced and welcomed during the meeting and that the Horticulture department will present their departmental activities at the next meeting.
