Tseminyu DC appoints officials as sector magistrates

DIMAPUR — Deputy Commissioner of Tseminyu, Rohit Singh, has appointed officials as sector magistrates for the upcoming ULB elections in Tseminyu district.

All sector magistrates so engaged are considered to be on deputation to the State Election Commission until the completion of the election process, according to a DIPR report.

It is mentioned that they will oversee the polling in their assigned areas/wards under the direction of the returning officer of Tseminyu Town Council. Additionally, the appointed magistrates are responsible for ensuring the secure distribution of voters’ information slips within their respective wards.
