Thanksgiving prog. held for ZTC Chairman Herato Sukhalu

DIMAPUR — A thanksgiving programme for Herato Sukhalu, Chairman of Zunheboto Town Council (ZTC), was held on July 16 at his residence at DC Hill (East), Zunheboto.

In his speech, the chairman expressed his gratitude to the voters and supporters, recognising that their dedication and support were crucial to his success and his current position, according to a press release.

He encouraged the councillors to collaborate with a positive attitude and a clear mindset. Also, he urged residents of the various wards to cooperate with their ward councillors to foster change and progress.

He declared that Zunheboto belongs to all Sumis, with no distinction between outsiders and locals. He concluded his speech by promising to transform his ward into a model ward.

Meanwhile, the Zunheboto District Badminton Association expressed its delight that an active player and member is holding the prestigious office. The association hoped that his wisdom, patience, humility, and shrewdness would lead to Zunheboto flourishing in every aspect.
