Students of Holy Child School visit SAS, NU
DIMAPUR — A group of eighty students from Holy Child School, Dimapur, accompanied by six teachers, undertook an educational field trip to the School of Agricultural Sciences, Nagaland University (SAS, NU) at Medziphema campus, on November 1.
During the visit, the students explored various project units and departments including the entomology insect museum, library, education museum, the All India Coordinated Research Project on Pig, STINER-TFC and plant pathology disease museum.
An update from the school stated that faculty, scholars and project in-charges provided detailed briefings about the different departments and project units.
The field trip concluded with a short speech by the student representative and Prof. Akali Sema, pro vice chancellor of SAS, NU.
It stated that the visit of the school students was coordinated by Dr. Waluniba, assistant professor of Entomology, and Dr. Tsarila ZT Sangtam, guest faculty of Livestock Production and Management.
