DIMAPUR — A state-level workshop on Swachh Survekshan Grameen (SSG) 2023 was held at PHED directorate, Kohima, on Friday.
Research Manager, Ipsos, Rupali Mishra, presented an overview on Swachh Survekshan Grameen 2023 and also gave power point presentations on SSG - direct observation on household level, village level, public places and SBM (G) plants.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]The programme was chaired by Thenusou Sekhose, state HRD consultant, Sanitation & WSSO, PHED, while Thsathrichem Sangtam, Chief Engineer, Sanitation and WSSO, PHED, delivered the opening remarks, an update stated.
The workshop concluded with closing remark by Lhousikhono Zinyü, State Sanitation & Hygiene consultant, WSSO PHED.
The main objective of Swachh Survekshan Grameen (SSG) is to survey sanitation and cleanliness status in the villages across the nation on an annual basis. The survey has been instrumental in fostering a spirit of healthy competition among villages to improve their service sanitation and hygiene status and towards creating cleaner villages across the country.
