State BJP president briefs BL Santhosh on party’s activities

DIMAPUR — Nagaland state BJP president Benjamin Yepthomi called on BJP national general secretary (organisation) BL Santhosh in New Delhi on October 1.

According to an update, they held detailed discussions on the party’s organisational activities in Nagaland over the past year and Yepthomi briefed Santhosh on the state’s performance in the first phase of the Sadasyata Abhiyan Membership Drive 2024.

Later, the president, accompanied by national secretary and prabhari (in-charge) of Nagaland Anil K Antony and Advisor for Tribal Affairs and Election Tovihoto Ayemi, met with Santhosh, along with former Deputy Speaker of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and former RPI candidate for the 2023 general election Yangseo Sangtam and former vice chairman of the North East Congress Coordination Committee Dr. Bobby Panicker, who recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Santhosh welcomed both leaders into the party’s fold and congratulated them for joining the world’s largest national political party. He also encouraged them to stay focused on the goals ahead.
