SSP conducts awareness programme on disaster management

DIMAPUR — To inculcate a sense of preparedness and responsibility among its cadets, the Sainik School Punglwa (SSP), in collaboration with the 12 Battalion National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), India, organised a comprehensive awareness programme on disaster management on Saturday.

An update from the school stated that the cadets were introduced to various emergency response procedures and the crucial role played by the NDRF in mitigating disasters.

The programme included interactive sessions, informative presentations, practical demonstration of rescue operations, medical aid and search and rescue techniques that left a lasting impression on the cadets.
