‘Naga Morsel’ is a hotel on the rise, located in Eros Colony that serves Naga dishes.
Sukulung who runs the restaurant serves various types of traditional dishes in different ways.
Sukulung today shares his mouth watering ‘Yam chicken’ dish, a specialty at the restaurant!

 

Ingredients
1. 1.5 kg chicken
2. 300 grams Field garlic
3. 20 grams ginger
4. 30 grams garlic
5. Lemon grass
6. 800 grams yam
7. 5-6 green chillies
8. Black sesame seeds
9. Lettuce and
10. Salt to taste

 

Method
Make a paste of ginger and garlic.
Boil the yam and smash it
Then mash the field garlic
Slice the green chillies
And then toast the sesame seeds.
Boil the chicken in 11/2 liter of water with garlic and ginger for about 40 minutes.
Then add the yam into the boiling chicken and simmer for about 20 more minutes.
Add smashed field garlic.
And finally put the sliced green chillies and close the lit for about a minute.
And then garnish it with toasted sesame seed and lettuce.
Ready to serve with hot rice and chatni.
