SBI conducts career awareness campaign at Yingli College

DIMAPUR — An awareness campaign on ‘Career Prospects in SBI’ was held at Yingli College, Longleng, on Bank Nationalisation Day, July 19.

It was organised by the State Bank of India, Regional Business Office (RBO), Mokokchung, in collaboration with the Career Guidance and Counselling Cell, Yingli College, according to a DIPR report.

During the event, L. Peter Longchar, branch manager of SBI Longleng, provided an introductory note. Imtisanen Ao, deputy manager of RBO Mokokchung, AIBOC state secretary, CCM SBIOA NE Circle, and resource person, explained the opportunities and scope in the banking sector.

Viliezoto Neikha, assistant manager at SBI Mokokchung, deliberated on the intricacies and strategies required for clearing bank exams. The programme concluded with the resource persons emphasising the need for local people to enter the banking sector.
