DIMAPUR — Nagaland lone Rajya Sabha MP and mahila vice president of BJP Nagaland, S Phangnon Konyak, undertook tour of Wokha, Mon, Aboi (org.), Longleng, Tuensang, Noklak and Kiphire districts and engaged in productive meetings with the district office bearers, morchas, sadasyata committee and karyakartas.
During the tour, she highlighted the importance of national membership campaign 2024 to strengthen the grassroots and to connect the people of Nagaland to be part of the plan to make India a fully developed nation by 2047, stated a press release from the party.
She emphasised the need for the party workers to assist the public in availing various public oriented government schemes such as free food grains under PMGKAY, housing for all under PMAY (U), health insurance under AB-PMJAY to name a few.
The campaign was to enroll new as well as renew primary membership of party workers after every 6 years as per Article 9 of its constitution.
It informed that the membership campaign would continue till October 15. Registration could be done by giving a miss call on phone No. 8800 00 2024 or through the NaMo App and QR codes.
