Dimapur, Nov. 10 (EMN): The change of guard in Kohima Sümi Officers’ Küqhalu (KSOK), coinciding with its raising day and annual session, was held on November 7 at the Mt. Olive College auditorium, Kohima.

The event was chaired by vice president Hekato Yeptho, stated a press release.

Hoto Yepthomi, founding member and vice president of the union, speaking on the occasion, exhorted the officers to imbibe three vital values—sincerity, efficiency, and honesty—in the workplace.

He stated that the absence of even one of these three elements in an officer’s character disqualifies them from being worthy and respectable. He also emphasised the importance of being well-versed in rules and regulations and staying updated on government guidelines and standing orders to enhance workplace efficiency.

The outgoing president of KSOK, Warren Holohon Yepthomi, highlighted the achievements and unfinished tasks of his team’s tenure and expressed gratitude to the members for their unwavering support.

The new team of office bearers for the 2024-25 to 2026-27 tenure comprises president Kitto Swu, general secretary Khekihe K Zhimo, joint secretary Katoholi Achumi, treasurer Lovikali Yepthomi, advisor Warren Holohon Yeptho, executive members Tosheli Zhimomi, Hekato Yeptho, T Kakihe Sumi, and Dr. Nitovi Shikhu.
