Dimapur, June 25 (EMN): Public education campaign and hands-on training on management of dead body, use of PPE, and lockdown measures was held at Phusachodu village in Phek district on June 23 in the presence of MLA Chotisuh Sazo.
A DIPR report stated that the campaign was led by ADC Pfutsero, senior medical officer (SMO) and medical officer of CHC Pfutsero.
It informed that all the villages and towns under Pfutsero sub-division including Pfutseromi, Phusachodu, Leshami, Lewoza, Zuketsa, Zapami, Lasumi, Chizami, Sakraba town, Gidemi, Pholami, Porba, Upper Khomi, Middle Khomi and Lower Khomi were covered under the public education campaign on Covid-19.
It added that the Pfutsero block task force has conducted vaccination and hands-on-training on management of dead body, use of PPE, lockdown measures and Covid-19 appropriate behaviours for healthcare workers, VDMAs and village authorities.
It further stated that PPEs and masks were distributed to all village authorities during the tours.
