DIMAPUR — The celebration of Poshan Maah was launched at Tseminyu under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) project by the Department of Social Welfare on Wednesday at the CDPO office premises, Tseminyu.
EAC Tseminyu Monosangla Ozukum attended the occasion as the special guest, according to a DIPR report.
Speaking on the occasion, Ozukum appealed to the Anganwadi workers to be more active in the successful implementation of the Poshan Maah programme within the district, especially for pregnant women and children. She urged them to ensure that the facilities provided by the government are judiciously availed by the community.
Earlier, CDPO Tseminyu Menokhrielie, in his welcome address, highlighted the importance of the nationwide programme.
