Dimapur — Minister Health & Family Welfare P Paiwang Konyak on Thursday inspected the ongoing construction of Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (NIMSR) Kohima.
Following the inspection of the entire campus, the Minister, while reminding that the admission will commence soon, cautioned the technical team and the contractors that the commencement of the state’s dream college should not be hindered because of few contractors who do not complete the projects on time.
Asserting that ample time has been allotted to the contractors to complete the infrastructures and that there was no dearth of funds, Konyak said there should not be further excuses to delay commencement of the academic session.
The minister, who also had a meeting with the staff of NIMSR post inspection, gave patient hearing to the grievances shared by the various departments and assured the government’s full support towards full functioning of the college on time.
