Karbi Anglong: Organic market shed in Chinthong village soon

DIPHU — With an aim to make Chinthong village ‘the land of organic’, local Member of Autonomous Council (MAC) of Chinthong constituency, Avijit Kro is constructing an organic market shed for the farmers to sell their organic produce at Long-eh- Lobui.

Informing this to the villagers, Kro said that the market shed is the initial task towards making Chinthong an organic village where farmers cultivating ginger, chilli, sesame, pineapple, orange etc. can sell their produce.

In Chinthong there are many organic agricultural and horticulture products, but there is no place to sell the products, Kro said.
