DIMAPUR — The Sumi region national workers of the NSCN (IM) have fervently appealed to the Government of India to implement the ‘historic’ Framework Agreement (FA) that was signed on August 3, 2015, at the earliest.
The NSCN (IM) Sumi region unanimously reaffirmed its stand to support the Framework Agreement during the national workers meeting-cum-caretaker Central Administrative Officer (CAO) induction programme held on October 5 in Zunheboto headquarters, stated an update from the CAO of Sumi region.
During the day-long meeting, the members expressed appreciation on the wisdom of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Late Isak Chishi and Th. Muivah under whose leadership the ‘historic’ Framework Agreement was signed.
The national workers of Sumi region also urged the Government of India and its representatives not to shy away from the historic Framework Agreement that was signed in full public view of the world and to implement the agreement at the earliest.
The members also pointed that the Indo-Naga issue has been delayed for too long and added that the Framework Agreement is the only honourable and respectable permanent solution.
The Sumi region national workers further prayed for wisdom and good health upon their leaders and extended its fullest support to the Framework Agreement.
