Nagaland Public Service Commission chairman, member sworn in

Kohima, April 20 (EMN): The new chairman of the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) W Honje Konyak and member Thinuokhrienu Tsiekhanuo were sworn in on Wednesday.

The oath taking ceremony was held at the conference hall of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat, wherein the chief secretary of Nagaland, J Alam, administered the oath of secrecy.

The ceremony was presided over by Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha and attended by member of Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) Khriehu Liezietsu, senior government officials and family members.

It may be mentioned that the new chairman, Konyak, retired as the commissioner and secretary of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Nagaland, while the new member Tsiekhanuo retired as vice-principal of Kohima College, Kohima (KCK).
