DIMAPUR — Minister for PWD (RB), G Kaito Aye convened a review meeting for the PMGSY works at the Capital Convention Centre, Kohima, on September 25.

In his address, the minister said that henceforth, there would not be any ‘compromise’ on the standard and quality of road works under PMGSY and the time schedule, an update stated.

Kaito lamented that the performance of the state as far as the PMGSY scheme is concerned is “not acceptable.”

Stating that new technology is adopted to bring about a change, he also insisted that the contractors should deliver good roads to the public.
