NITI provides job placement to 5000 students

DIMAPUR — Nationalist Institute of Technology and Innovation (NITI), Dimapur, has trained more than 40,000 people and provided job placement to more than 5000 students.

This was disclosed by the NITI managing director, Ajay Sethi, during a programme held at NITI Dimapur centre to commemorate its 25th foundation day on Wednesday.

Also speaking on the occasion, the CEO of NITI, Rishav Sethi, stressed on understanding the significance and the importance of technology in today’s life. He stated that technology has become a part of daily life and made life easier.

Comparing the scenario of Nagaland, he stated that many are left jobless even after graduation due to lack of skills. He opined that one needs to believe in the skills and technology. He shared how he was given access to technology since early childhood, which enabled him to develop apps for clients.

Also speaking at the programme, Fr. CP Anto, principal of NEISSR, stressed on enhancing skills in order to transform the society.

Saneinuo Putsure, managing director of Norman Putsure, and Owdang O Phom, alumnus of NITI Dimapur, also delivered short speeches during the programme.

A song by presented by Ankit Sonar and a dance by Binod Dey, students of NITI.
