NCP alleges BJP workers of cutting power supply to 6 Wokha villages
Dimapur, March 5 (EMN): Power supply to six villages under 38 Wokha Assembly Constituency has been cut off since February 28 allegedly by suspected supporters of the BJP candidate.
A statement from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) media cell 38 Wokha AC alleged that electric posts leading to the six villages — Pongitong, Tsungza, Khumtsu, Meriyan, Totsu and L Yanthung — have been dismantled and the affected villages have been in ‘kept darkness for the last four days’.
‘This is due to the fact that the voters from the above six villages have not cast 100% of their votes in favour of their BJP candidate from Longsa village,’ it alleged.
“These uncivilised and barbaric actions willfully committed by supporters of the BJP
candidate from Longsa village should be condemned by all peace loving people,” it added.
