NBSE informs on SBIF Asha scholarship

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has informed all the head of institutions that SBIF Asha Scholarship Programme 2024, one of India’s largest scholarship programs, are currently open for students from Classes 6 to 12.

An initiative of the SBI Foundation, the scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low-income families across India by ensuring the continuity of their education.

It informed that the top 300 most meritorious students from each state and union territory in India would be selected for the award this year. The award for the selected student is INR 15,000 each.

It mentioned that SBIF Asha Scholarship aims to recognise and motivate the most meritorious students from each region of India to pursue their studies.

It informed that the scholarship would be opened to students from Class 6 to 12 in the current academic year. They must secured 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.

The gross annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 3,00,000.

It informed that the online nominations for 2024-25 have already started and the applicants would be able to submit their online nominations till October 31 through http://www.b4s.in/a/em_SBIFS10_20240918_1.

All the registered schools are requested to take necessary action to enable the students avail the scholarship.
