DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has informed all the head of institutions to participate at the Inspire-Manak Scheme.
Inspire-Manak Scheme is a flagship programme jointly implemented by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and National Innovation Foundation (NIF)-India with an objective to instill creative/ innovative thinking among school students from classes 6-10 in the age group of 10-15 years.
The Manak Scheme envisaged targeting one million original/ innovative ideas from students studying in more than five lakh middle and high schools across the country. The best ideas having potential to cater to societal needs and applications would be selected for an INSPIRE Award, thereby motivating those students to take the ideas forward for prototype and product development.
It mentioned that the registered schools under the INSPIRE-MANAK Scheme, in each financial year, can nominate 5 best ideas from their schools through online mode in E Management of INSPIRE-MANAK Scheme (E-MIAS) web portal www.inspireawards-dst.gov.in.
It informed that the online nominations for 2024-25, has already started from July 1 and added that the schools can submit their online nominations till September 15.
All the registered schools are requested to take necessary action.
