Nagaland’s PM SHRI schools participate in I-Day celebrations in Delhi
DIMAPUR — Students and teachers from two PM SHRI schools in Nagaland attended the 78th Independence Day ceremony at Red Fort, New Delhi, as special guests.
According to an update, two students and two teachers, representing PM SHRI GHS Thahekhu and PM SHRI GMS Showuba Old, attended the ceremony along with an official from the State Mission Authority, Samagra Shiksha.
The participants also visited places of national importance, such as India Gate and the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya.
It is worth noting that, in Nagaland, 27 government schools have been selected as PM SHRI schools.
Meanwhile, at the invitation of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, representatives of three missions under the Social Welfare department—Mission Shakti, Mission Vatsalya, and Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0—attended the 78th Independence Day ceremony at Red Fort as special guests.
A DIPR report further mentioned that on August 14, the Ministry of Women and Child Development felicitated the DCPO Zunheboto, district mission coordinator, DHEW Mokokchung, and AWW Dimapur Rural for their outstanding performance and achievements in their respective schemes at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
