Nagaland: Three student bodies caution erring government officials

Mokokchung, Oct. 28 (EMN): The Ao Students’ Union Changtongya Town (ASUCT), Changtongya Kaketshir Telongjem (CKT), and Akhoya Shisaluyimer Telongjem (AST) have warned of action against erring officers and staff within Changtongya sub-division.

The three union issued this statement following visit to government offices and schools under Changtongya sub-division on October 27. It stated that the officials from the three student unions held interaction with officials from various departments and took stock of the prevailing problem and situation faced by them. The team also shared their plans and works to be initiated for the uplift of the sub-division.

However, the three unions observed that some of the offices do open on time, while the officers and staff do not attend the office without genuine reason. 

The three unions cautioned that the matter would be duly informed to higher authority for necessary action if such negligence is found in future among the officers and staff of various departments in Changtongya sub-division.
