Fisheries dept. conducts training in Shamator
DIMAPUR — The department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources organised a training on ‘Fish pond management and integrated fish farming system’ at Government Middle School (GMS) in Shamator on Thursday. The resource person and district fishery officer, Shamyung Ongh, who spoke on pond management and benefits of composite fish culture, has emphasised on adoption of scientific fish culture to enhance fish production and generate more income for the farmers. Another resource person and assistant fishery inspector, Chothihu Rhakho, has highlighted on integrated fish farming system. A DIPR report stated that floating fish feeds and fish fingerlings were distributed to 30 participants from Shamator and Chessore under PMMSY 2022-23.
KPC shifts office to APO building
Kohima Press Club KPC) has shifted its working office to the Angami Public Organisation (APO) building, Room No. 38 at Phoolbari, Kohima. It informed that all written communications/ correspondences should be addressed to the new office. Meanwhile, KPC has appreciated APO president, Razouvotuo Chatsu, and his colleagues for responding promptly to the immediate need of the press fraternity in the state capital and making available an office space at the community complex. KPC also expressed gratitude to DPRO Kohima, Ruopfulenuo H Mepfhuo, and all the members of the press club, who have contributed in materials and their time in making the new working office functional.
IYC legal cell appoints state chairman
Indian Youth Congress (IYC) national chairman of legal cell, Roopesh S Bhadauria, has appointed Advocate Khumchoba T Sangtam as the chairman of Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress (NPYC) legal cell with immediate effect. In an appointment letter, Bhadauria said “as Indian Youth Congress office bearers, there are serious challenges ahead of us. We must dedicate ourselves wholeheartedly to work together in order to strengthen the arms of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.” It expressed hope that he would work to the best of his abilities and spread the message of unity and peace in the hearts and minds of fellow citizens of India. It also urged him to work in coordination with the NPYC president, Limayangba Lemtur, and the secretary in-charge, Nur Sofiqul Wazid.
