Kohima: The Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) on Tuesday passed the Nagaland Appropriation (No.2) Bill, 2023, authorising the state government to withdraw INR 230,85,66,33,000 (approximately INR 23085.66 crore) from and out of the consolidated fund of the state for the Financial Year 2023-2024.
The Bill was introduced by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, who is also the minister-in-charge of Finance, and was later passed through a voice vote.
