Nagaland Governor, Chief Minister extend Tuluni greetings
Dimapur, July 7 (EMN): Nagaland Governor RN Ravi and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have extended greetings to the Sumi community and the people of the state on the occasion of Tuluni festival.
“Tuluni is celebrated to welcome the bountiful season of the year,” read Ravi’s message, adding that it is a time to “re-strengthen family and social bonds and to celebrate new relationships”.
“May Tuluni festival remind us of our ancestors who found strength in one another, in good and bad times. I hope the Sumi youths will come together as a community and continue to unite and build the Nagas to overcome the challenge we are facing today,” read the message.
“On this auspicious occasion, I wish you all good health, happiness and prosperity,” it added.
Rio also took to Twitter to convey his greetings to the Sumi community.
“Happy Tuluni to the Sumi community. May it foster fraternity, solidarity and oneness among all sections of people. Best wishes for peace and well-being of everyone. May the Almighty guide and protect us,” read his message.
