MOS visits Mokokchung district

MOKOKCHUNG — Union Minister of State for Steel and Rural Department, Faggan Singh Kulaste, on Wednesday arrived in Mokokchung on a two-day visit to Nagaland.

Kulaste was received at Assam Rifle helipad in Mokokchung by the advisor of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, A Pangjung Jamir, along with the deputy commissioner of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji; superintendent of police, Manojkumar A; and BJP Mokokchung district officials.

The union minister was accompanied by the state minister of Rural Development and SIRD, Metusbo Jamir. 

On his arrival, Kulaste had a closed door meeting with the officials of BJP Mokokchung district, which was followed with ‘At Home’ reception at DC’s Bungalow, Mokokchung, in the evening hosted by Metusbo Jamir.

It was informed that the Union Minister will have a closed door meeting with the head of the departments on the centrally sponsored schemes (CSS) at 10 am on February 15. It would be followed by interaction with self help groups (SHG) in Ungma village.

The union minister would leave for Kohima and hold meeting with top government officials.
