More than 34K doses of Covishield administered in Nagaland so far
Dimapur, Feb. 25 (EMN): As many as 34,075 doses of Covishield vaccine have been administered to healthcare and frontline workers across the state till date and no adverse events needing medical intervention have been reported so far.
This was informed by State Immunisation Officer, Dr. Ritu Thurr through an update on Monday.
“As of today (February 25), 10,102 healthcare workers have been vaccinated with a coverage of 47% and 18,548 frontline workers have received the vaccine with a coverage of 36%,” read the update.
Out of the total beneficiaries, 28, 650 were those who received first dose, and 5425 received second dose.
‘12.6 million doses of Covishield and Covaxin vaccines have been administered to healthcare and frontline workers across the country till date,’ informed the update, adding that last date for first dose vaccination of frontline workers is March 1, 2021, followed by mop up sessions till March 6.
