DIMAPUR — The Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji, has issued a travel advisory for a scheduled road blasting operation on September 22.
In an update on Friday, the DC informed that JKM Infra Work LLP has been cleared to conduct controlled blasting between 3 pm and 10 pm along National Highway 61 (New NH 02).
The blasting, part of a road widening project, will occur in the Angetyong Tzu River area between the DEF Police Church and Yisemyong.
“The contractor shall ensure safety and security of the life and property of public using the road, the company should follow all the relevant rules of the explosives Act/Rule, 2008, JKM Infra works LLP will be responsible for any damage of life property”, the update stated.
