Dimapur, Feb. 21 (EMN): The annual sports week of MGM College, Dimapur commenced at Dimapur District Sports Complex (DDSC) stadium on Monday.
The programme commenced with an invocation followed by the lighting of the torch, an update informed.
Fr. Dr. P S Varghese, principal of the college delivered the presidential address, which was followed by the flag hoisting and oath taking by the sports captains and respective house leaders.
Dr. N Kumar, principal of City College of Commerce and Arts was the chief guest.
The sports meet will continue till Feb. 23 with a valedictory programme at 1 pm, it informed.
