KOHIMA — The enchanting melodies of the 1st Cantus Choir Competition, coupled with the 11th Northern Angami II A/C NDPP pre-Christmas programme, resonated through the evening at Dzüü Resort Rüsoma on Sunday.
Rev. Letuolie Pienyü, pastor of CRC Pezielietsie, Kohima, conveyed a poignant Christmas message, setting the tone for the festivities.
At the 1st Cantus Choir Competition, Meriema Choir emerged triumphant, leaving an indelible mark on the musical landscape.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]Botsa Choir secured the well-deserved runners-up position, showcasing their musical prowess.
A total of seven teams participated in the competition, guided by the organising committee's convenor, Kechalhoubei Talie, and secretary, Zhavituo Pfukha.
The panel of judges were Medokhrienuo Pfukri, Khriebeinuo Keditsu, and Medongunuo Zumu, who evaluated the performances during the competition.
