Dimapur, Nov, 19 (EMN): The Mokokchung College of Teacher Education (MCTE) annual sports week concluded on Thursday.
The three-day long sports week, held on the Theme, “Carpe Diem”, was held at DIET ground, Yimyu Ward and Indoor Community Hall, Khensa village, Mokkchung district, an update informed.
Earlier, the sports week was inaugurated on November16, by Dr. Temsurenla, vice principal, MCTE. ‘Throughout the sports week, the student-teachers showcased and developed their skills on team building and sportsmanship through various games,’ it read.
Dr. Temsurenla also declared the winners and presented medals and certificates on the final day. Team Kraken was declared as the winner, while team Centaur and team Phoenix were the runners-up and second runners-up respectively.
