‘Make honey a gateway for people to know Nagaland’
KISAMA — Expounding the huge potential of honey production in Nagaland, chairman of Nagaland Beekeeping and Honey Mission (NBHM), Obed Quinker, told the honey entrepreneurs to make their products a gateway for outside world to know Nagaland.
He stated this during the NBHM honey hub at Kisama in the sideline of the 24th edition of Hornbill Festival 2023. The chairman also appreciated the efforts of the bee keepers and farmers for making the honey hub a reality.
He emphasised that the honey should represent the people of the state and should be made known throughout the country.
The inauguration programme was led by Sentiwapang Aier, additional secretary to CM and NBHM team leader.
Meanwhile, NBHM informed that Nagaland Honeybee Day will be held on December 5.
It informed that visitors could buy honey products from the stalls set up by entrepreneurs from various districts. Products included honey confectioneries and beverages.
