DIMAPUR — The Longleng District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting took place on Wednesday at the DPDB Hall in Longleng, with Deputy Commissioner and vice chairman Dharam Raj presiding over the session.
During the meeting, agendas concerning the renewal of the Yingli Community Development Society and the Phom Day Commission were discussed and subsequently forwarded for approval by the relevant department, according to a DIPR report.
The house also deliberated on the proposal submitted by DPRO Longleng for the establishment of an Assistant Public Relations Office (APRO) at the ADC headquarters in Tamlu and an information centre at Sakshi EAC headquarters.
It agreed to recommend the proposals and forward them to the government for further necessary actions.
The cultural officer of Longleng presented the departmental activities and the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services was tasked with presenting its departmental activities at the next DPDB meeting.
