DIMAPUR — Kiruphema Youth Organisation (KYO) officially launched its jubilee blazer on Sunday at Kiruphema Basa Council Hall, marking the commencement of preparations for its 50th anniversary celebration scheduled from December 17 to the 21th.
The event was attended by the former its former president and former general secretary of Angami Public Organisation (APO), Lhousavilie Kruneilie, who officiated the launch programme as the special guest.
In his address, Kruneilie encouraged the youth to uphold unity and demonstrate love in their actions, emphasising their role as symbols of harmony within the community.
An update from the organisation stated that the jubilee celebration would be a significant milestone for KYO, highlighting five decades of service and unity.
All the 8 peer groups of Kiruphema village and jubilee committee members attend the programme.
The jubilee blazer was sponsored by Akho Neikha and family. The programme was chaired by Kezevilie Hojha and an invocation prayer was said by Pfülhouzhüno Visienyü, chairperson of the Kiruphema Women Organisation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Neikepelie Vielie.
