Kiphire residents ordered to clear roadsides by October 30
DIMAPUR — Deputy Commissioner of Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer, has directed the removal of materials and off-road vehicles from the Kiphire town area by October 30, according to an order.
The DC stated that it has been observed that construction materials, off-road vehicles, firewood, debris, waste materials, and water pipelines are being randomly dumped and haphazardly parked on roadsides in and around Kiphire town.
This is obstructing the smooth flow of traffic, hindering the movement of commuters, creating an eyesore, and has become a public safety concern.
Citing that the order is issued for strict compliance, the concerned owners have been directed to ensure that all materials are removed safely and efficiently by October 30. Failure to do so will result in the seizure of materials and legal action for non-compliance.
