Kikruma-Chakhabama road in Nagaland closed for traffic

DIMAPUR— In view of the landslide at 37.200 km located between Kikruma and Chakhabama under Pacakge-2, NHIDCL, vehicular movement along the stretch of road will be temporarily closed to allow the contractors to clear the debris in the affected area.

In a travel advisory, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Pfutsero, Nchumbemo, informed the public that the stretch of road will be closed for traffic on July 22 from 7:30 am to 5 pm, to enable timely completion of restoration work by the contractors — M/S TG Enterprise.

Inbound and outbound light motor vehicles to Pfutsero and Kohima have been advised to take the alternate route – Zuketsa- Kidima road, said the advisory.
