Khrievitso Kense from Nagaland shortlisted for IPL auction 2022

Dimapur, Feb. 2(EMN): Seventeen-year-old Khrievitso Kense from Nagaland has been shortlisted for the Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2022 auction, which is scheduled to be held in Bangalore on Feb. 12.
Kense is a right-arm leg spinner and was shortlisted for IPL auction in 2021 as well.
During a short interaction with Eastern Mirror, Kense shared that he received the information about him being shortlisted on Wednesday. He confirmed that he is the youngest in the country among the players shortlisted for the IPL auction.
He also updated that he had been playing in the 2nd edition of the Late G Rio Memorial U-19 (Boys) Inter-District Tournament and emerged as champion with Dimapur team, which ended on Wednesday.
Joint secretary of Nagaland Cricket Association, Raheeda Rehman, shared with this paper that out of more than 300 players shortlisted in the country, Kense is the youngest player in the auction this year.
He further informed that Kense has maintained a base price of INR 20 lakh.
