Kohima, Jan. 11 (EMN): Minister for Agriculture and Co-operation, G Kaito Aye on Monday inaugurated a health sub-centre at Xuivi village under Satakha sub-division in Zunheboto district.
Speaking during the inaugural programme, the minister stated that the health centre has been the 'most-awaited' in times of pandemic.
Exuding confidence that the new centre will serve the people, Aye said, “The centre will provide the most needed care and emergency medical aid to the people”.
A speech on behalf of the department of Health and Family Welfare was delivered by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Zunheboto, Dr. K Akaho Sema.
Earlier, the dedicatory prayer for the new health sub-centre was offered by Inavi Tuccu, pastor of Xuivi Baptist Church.
