Kachari Tribal Council Nagaland celebrates 25th anniversary

DIMAPUR — The Kachari Tribal Council, Nagaland (KTCN) celebrated its 25th anniversary on October 26 at the Darogajan Village Council Hall in Dimapur, with Chabi Kumar Mech, president of the KTCN, presiding over the event.

An update from the council mentioned that the programme commenced with a prayer by Rev. Simon Khemprai, followed by a welcome address from Sukhanlal Langthasa, vice president of the KTCN.

SK Khemprai, advisor and founding president of the KTCN, delivered a speech on the history and journey of the council. The event also featured short speeches by several dignitaries. Krishna Mech, councillor of East Dimapur, congratulated the KTCN on its dedicated 25 years of service.

Dhananjay Basumatary, retired chief engineer of the Department of Power, released the KTCN souvenir.
